Text/Email Updates

What does this mean? 

Interest has been expressed in receiving text reminders for the monthly meetings and other events.  We have coordinated with remind.com to set up a district group "@crdmtgs" to send short reminders via text and/or email - your choice.  Look for the green information logo .  This icon highlights events that will have short updates/reminders sent via this service. 
 
This is an opt-in/opt-out service so you can join/leave at any time and your phone #/email is anonymous if you subscribe yourself.  Mobile phone apps are available for devices accessing the Apple, Google Play, or Amazon App stores.  You can join three different ways (below) - make sure to respond to any initial texts/emails when you subscribe to confirm your subscription. 
 
Join via phone:
  1. Sign up within the mobile phone app as a student of class @crdmtgs
  2. Text "@crdmtgs" - don't include the quotes (") to 81010.  You can also text "@crdmtgs" to 512-843-8155 if the short code 81010 does not work.
  3. Send an email to crdmtgs@mail.remind.com
Join via computer:
  1. Sign up at the following web page: https://www.remind.com/join/crdmtgs
  2. Send an email to crdmtgs@mail.remind.com
Join by email request:
  1. Send a request to ctxscouter@gmail.com with your phone number and/or email and indicate your communication preference (text, email, or both) and we'll send you an invitation.
