Cub Scouts

Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Tiger Cub - Boys in 1st grade (or age 7) work to earn their Tiger rank.

Wolf Scout - Boys in 2nd grade (or age 8) work to earn their Wolf rank.

Bear Scout - Boys in 3rd grade (or age 9) work to earn their Bear rank.

Webelos - Boys in 4th-5th grade (or age 10) work to earn their Webelos rank.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.
